  • What is Maize in the City?

    Maize in the City is a family owned and operated rural fall event built into a 40-acre corn field.

  • Be Prepared

    Maize in the City is an outdoor attraction located in a dirt field. Please note, terrain may be uneven and hard to manage. Please plan footwear, clothing, strollers, hats, gloves, sunscreen, etc. accordingly.

  • Weather & Field Conditions

    Site & attractions are open per the schedule weather & field conditions dependent.

    If inclement weather forces a closure, a notice will be posted on our website & social pages asap.

    *If you’re traveling from a distance to see us, please check the local weather & plan accordingly.

  • Groups, Field Trips & Parties

    Maize in the City does not offer any group pricing. That being said, you’re welcome to bring your group to enjoy a day at our site. There are picnic tables available - first come, first served.

    Coolers are welcome - but NO ALCOHOL

    *No pop-up tents, umbrellas, etc. allowed onsite.

  • Parking

    Enter the parking lot south-bound on McKay Road. No left turn into the site is permitted. Parking is located onsite only. No street parking.

  • Pricing

    It is FREE to enter the Maize in the City site. All attractions are a-la-carte and vary in price from $0 - $14 per person. We do not have group discounts or all inclusive tickets.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

    It is free to enter the site. You may pay with credit card at the entrance to each individual attraction. All attractions are a-la-cart. No online tickets are sold.

  • Refunds?

    Maize in the City does not offer refunds.

  • Can I pay with cash?

    Attractions are cashless meaning you must pay with a credit or debit card at the front of each attraction. You may exchange cash for a gift card at our information booth upon entry. Cash & card are accepted at our food, market and pumpkin checkouts.

  • Attraction Times?

    Attraction LINES close 1 hour prior to site closing time. We do this to ensure all patrons in line at that time get to enjoy the attraction.

    Our 20-acre corn maze line closes 1.5 hours before the site closes. Vendor booths (such as face paint) may have separate closing times.

  • How much are pumpkins?

    Pumpkin prices vary by size and variety. Check our sizing chart onsite for details.

  • Food & Drink

    Concessions are available for purchase onsite. Jarred goods are also available in our Market.

  • Other Items Sold Onsite?

    Maize in the City sells Halloween specialty items - carving kits, glow sticks, decor, etc.; several variety of pumpkins & gourds; other fun fall-related items.

  • Dogs Onsite

    Dogs are allowed onsite. We just ask that you keep them on a leash at all times and clean up after them.

    *Remember to bring a water bowl as October days sometimes get extra hot!
